Edinburgh UK/EU Master's Scholarships

Twelve scholarships are available to UK and EU students who have been accepted at the University of Edinburgh on a full-time Master's degree program in any subject offered by the University. The scholarships will cover the UK/EU tuition fees up to £5,100 which will be deducted from the tuition fee and will be tenable for one academic year.


Eligibility 

The scholarships will be awarded to UK/EU citizens who are accepted for admission on a full-time basis for a postgraduate Master's program of study at the University of Edinburgh.

Applicants should already have been offered a place at the University of Edinburgh and should have firmly accepted that offer or be intending to do so.


Criteria 

The scholarship will be awarded on the basis of academic merit with candidates requiring a first-class or upper second-class (2:1) honours degree from a UK university, or the overseas equivalent. 


Application Procedure

Eligible applicants should complete an online scholarship application

Application forms must be submitted no later than 3 May 2010.


Selection Procedure 

A Selection Committee will meet in late May 2010 to select the scholarship holders.  All applicants will be notified of the outcome of their application in early June 2010.
