How to apply

Humanitas University yearly offers a number of merit-based scholarships for both European and non-European students, given accordingly with the position in the HUMAT admission test ranking.

For the academic year 2022/2023, there are 8 scholarships available for EU students:
1 full tuition scholarship
7 partial scholarships worth €6.000 to €16.000 per year (depending on the tuition bracket to which the student will be assigned)
And 4 scholarships available for non-EU students:
4 partial scholarships worth €16.000 per year

NOTE: Additional scholarships may become available.

FAQ: Can I keep the scholarship for the entire length of my degree course?
Yes – the scholarship will be automatically renewed annually until graduation if you:
– maintain an average grade of 27/30 weighted by credits awarded (GPA)
– complete a minimum annual number of University credits (CFU) as specified in Article 7 of the Scholarships Regulations.

You must be in possession of a Secondary School Diploma (Diploma de Bacalaureat) by 31.07.2022
Your required level of English is at least B2
You must register (until 09.02.2022) for and sit a mandatory on-line medical entrance exam (on 17th and 18th February 2022)
For students who are not resident in Italy, the Admissions Test ‒ HUMAT ‒ will take place remotely on 17th and 18th February 2022. Registration deadline: 9th February 2022. Test registration fee: 165 EUR, non-refundable.
After completing the registration and payment (no later than 09.02.2022), candidates will receive a confirmation email containing key indications on how to complete the computer set up for the test.

In the HUMAT test students are required to answer 60 multiple-choice questions with four response options in 120 minutes. The test is composed of two sections, 30 questions each:

Preparation course for the Medical Admission Exam
Duration: 6 days (Saturday ‒ Saturday / 35 hours of online lectures)
Cost: 700€
Places available: 50
The Humanitas University Preparation Week is an intensive online course held in english, designed to allow students to acquire a study method that will help them approach the admission test in a mindful way. Registrations will open in December.

Register on University My Portal for the Medical Admission Test by 09.02.2022 latest.
The test application is finalized only after the payment of the test fee of 165 EUR (credit card accepted).
(Optional) You may wish to participate in an on-line preparation course for the Medical Admission Exam.
Results of the Medical Admission Test will be published on 28 February 2022 on the university website.
Candidates will be able to see their position in the ranking list through the pre-matriculation number generated during the Admissions.
