How to apply

For the 2020 admission, 4 scholarships are available for non-EU students:
3 scholarships worth 20.000 € per year
1 scholarship worth 10.000 € per year

Can I keep the scholarship for the entire length of my degree course?
Yes – the scholarship will be automatically renewed annually until graduation if you:
– maintain an average grade of 27/30 weighted by credits awarded (GPA)
– complete a minimum annual number of University credits (CFU) as specified in Article 7 of the Scholarships Regulations.

The Scholarship does NOT cover any accommodation fees or personal expences during your stay in Italy. For further information about housing options available and costs, please visit hunimed.eu/campus
Only NON-EU citizens, not resident in Italy, are entitled to apply. If you hold dual citizenship with an EU country – you CAN NOT apply!
You must be in possession of a Secondary School Diploma (Diploma de Bacalaureat) by 31.07.2020
Your required level of English is at least B2
You must sit a mandatory on-line medical entrance exam on the 09.07.2020
The Admissions Test will take place on Thursday 9th July 2020.
Test registration fee of € 165,00 is non-refundable.

The first session will take place at 9.00 a.m. Italian time (GMT +2) and the second session will start at 5.00 p.m. Italian time (GMT +2). Candidates can select the preferred time of the test session. Please note that the portal will only show the Italian time session. The registration confirmation e-mail, which is sent to all candidates at the end of registrations, contains indications on how to complete the computer set up for the test.

Candidates are required to:
1) install Proctor Exam Google Chrome plugin, necessary to guarantee appropriate invigilation during the exam;
2) complete a system check, which allows to understand whether video, audio and Internet connection are good enough to access the exam.
During the test, invigilators will control the candidate fairness via webcam. The time given to complete the test is 120 minutes and the test is divided in two parts:
Part 1: 60 minutes for the scientific thinking questions (example of last year test)
Part 2: 60 minutes for academic literacy questions (example of last year test)
During the test, candidates will be allowed to use only their computer/laptop with no additional screen, keyboard or mouse. Candidates cannot use earplugs nor talk to anybody else. It is denied to use books or notes. Candidates must take the test in a bright room and must be alone. It is denied to use of the toilet.

On-line preparation course for the Medical Admission Exam
When: 29th June – 4th July and 20th July – 25th July
Duration: 6 days
Cost: 600€ (36 hours of on-line lectures and excercises + 8 hours orientations activities)
On-line Humanitas Preparation Week is an intensive preparation course (6 days) held in english. It is designed to allow students to acquire a study method that will help them to approach the Medical admissions tests in a mindful way.
1. Check the admission requirements. If you hold EU citizenship – you CAN NOT apply!
2. Please register on University My Portal for the Medical Admission Test by 30.06.2020 latest.
The test application is finalized only after the payment of the test fee of 165 EUR (credit card accepted).
3. After registration, you will receive an invitation to the On-line Medical Admission Exam which will take place on the 09.07.2020
4. (Optional) You may wish to participate in an on-line preparation course for the Medical Admission Exam. The course fee is 600 EUR.
5. Results of the Medical Admission Test will be published on 16th July 2020 on the website www.hunimed.eu
Candidates will be able to see their position in the ranking list through the pre-matriculation number generated during the Admissions. Candidates with a ranking position from n.1 to n.5, are eligible for a full scholarship funded by the University (20.000 EUR). The scholarship does not cover accommodation and personal expenses.
